Henry Moore Studios and Gardens

Henry Moore Studios and Gardens

Spend a day in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside and discover the work of Britain’s most famous sculptor, Henry Moore.

Explore the sculpture gardens, where over 20 of Moore’s recognisable bronzes are displayed each year: you will find a world-famous collection of sculpture set in 70 acres of landscaped lawns and rolling fields.

You can also visit the six fascinating studios and experience the sculptor’s creative process. Learn how Moore experimented with drawing, etching and carving and see many of his famous monumental bronzes, in their infancy, through the hundreds of small models that line the shelves of the Bourne Maquette Studio. The 16th century aisled barn, which Moore had relocated to the estate, is only place in the world where you can see unique tapestries commissioned by the artist specially for this building.

Please visit in-line with current restrictions, and check their website before visiting to ensure they are open.
