The heart and soul of Rocksalt are our menus, served in both the stunning restaurant area and the bar on the 1st floor, both of which are complete with their own sun drenched terraced areas for Summer. We take time and effort to source our ingredients as locally as possible: from the day boats working along the South Coast to the local farms set in the rolling Kent countryside, our focus is always on provenance.
Our A La Carte menu changes seasonally, showcasing everything from the freshest fish to the best quality meat, as well as locally sourced smoked or cured fish. Our lunch menu runs Tuesday to Friday and changes weekly, catering to all tastes. On Sunday’s it’s all about the traditional roast, with a selection of locally reared meats and a roast fish of the day.
Our passion for great produce shown in our food menus is continued into the drink offering and our bar on the 1st floor, instilling the same focus on quality and creativity through our extensive drinks list, whether it be bespoke cocktails, artisan beers, unique spirits or fine wines. The bar area also shares the same unrivalled views out to the sea as the restaurant below and features its own designated open air terrace area.
Rocksalt also features 4 boutique bedrooms just across the road from the restaurant, each with their own personality and perfect for a night’s stay or short getaway by the sea.
