The house was substantially rebuilt in 2011 using innovative eco-friendly techniques including underfloor heating and a state of the art ventilation system providing clean, freshly filtered air throughout.
We have four spacious en-suite guest rooms, two of which have bi-fold doors opening onto the terrace where guests can sit and watch the sunset going down over the orchard whilst enjoying the complimentary homemade ice cream.
Breakfast is an important part of any stay with us, with a focus on local produce from independent suppliers (Northiam Dairy, Rye Bakery ,Cranbrook Conserves, Ringden Apple Juice, Bean Smitten Coffee, Park Farm Butchers and eggs from across the road!) as well as using what we can from our own kitchen garden. Each morning, guests can choose from a selection of continental items followed by a freshly prepared hot dish.
Our location is perfect for exploring Kent's Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as visiting the coast. There are a wide variety of attractions and places to visit just short drive away, including six National Trust properties within 10 miles as well as several award-winning gardens such as Pashley Manor, Great Dixter, Merriments and Hole Park.
We are are also well-placed for exploring Kent's award winning food and drink, whether it be a trip and tour round a local vineyard/brewery or visiting one of the many local farm shops to sample some of the great produce this area has to offer.
